Candidates with bold ideas and community ties face barriers in fundraising, organizing, and gaining institutional support. This PAC was created to change that. We are not tied to a political party but to a mission—one that unites people who believe in a future shaped by leaders who stand up for working families, marginalized communities, and the fundamental principles of democracy.

Lighting Our Path exists to bridge the gap. We provide funding, training, and mentorship for both candidates and campaign staff, ensuring that those who step up to lead are never alone. By cultivating leaders who have built their roots locally, we are laying the foundation for a future where our communities are not just represented but empowered at every level of government.

    Lighting Our Path is a grassroots-funded, people-powered organization. We do not take money from corporations or special interest groups that seek to undermine our mission.

    Our funding comes from individuals who believe in fair representation and progressive leadership.

  • Individuals, Permanent Residents (Green Card), and other political committees can donate to our organization, as long as they comply with campaign finance laws.

    However, corporations and foreign nationals without Permanent Residency are not allowed to contribute. To support our work, you can donate here or click any donate button on our website.

  • We will begin accepting endorsement applications in Fall 2025. In the meantime, we encourage candidates to engage with our mission and connect with us.
